It's too much to keep up with different blogs so I'm just going to keep the blog at http://myhaitiadoption.blogspot.com/

Here are some pictures of me with Fritzon and Wanna over the past year and a half.  I was finally told last weekend while I was there that we can go ahead and start the paper work.  The Haitian law says we have to be 35 to adopt but the NEW law says you can be 30 to adopt. The new law is in the hands of the new President and we are waiting for him to sign it.  It has been so hard to wait but I know God's timing is perfect.

Most adoption agencies in Haiti charge a minimum of around $20k PER adotpion.  I met an amazing Christian, Heather Elyse, with www.givinghopehaiti.org, who is processing adoptions in months instead of years and only charging around $8k-$12k on the Haiti side.  There are still expenses on the US side like a Homestudy and Psych evelucation ($2k) and gathering documents.

I will have several fundraisers going on over the next year and appreciate all your love, support and encouragement through this.  Having been adopted myself from the foster care system I know how important it is to have a family.  I just want to do that for them and more kids in the future.
